Mother was ill, and Father was away; so 10-year-old Sally and her little brother walked to church by themselves. They felt quite grown up sitting tall in the pew beside their next door neighbor, and neither one dared to squirm. Tommy kept quite until the preacher closed his Bible and prayed a short prayer. Then he leaned over and whispered to his sister, “Is it all done now?”
Sally solemnly shook her head. “No,” she whispered back, “It’s just all said. We’ve got to go home now to do it!”
God has made His lessons for us as practical and as visual as possible so that we can see clearly what He wants to accomplish in our lives.
He’ll help us, of course, but in the end, it’s up to us to decide whether or not we’ll do it!
